RefurbishBike ApS Circular Bike Rental - Terms and Conditions

Rental Agreement: By renting a bike from RefurbishBike, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined herein.

Eligibility: Renters must be at least 18 years old to participate in the circular bike rental program.

Bike Usage: The rented bike is to be used solely for personal transportation purposes. It should not be used for any unlawful activities or for carrying passengers.

Rental Duration: The rental period starts upon the issuance of the bike and ends upon its return. Any extension of the rental period requires prior written approval from RefurbishBike.

Rental Fees: Rental fees are calculated based on the duration of the rental period. Late returns may incur additional charges from day 1overdue the termination day, it would be charge directly and without any refund.

Maintenance and Care: Renters are responsible for the proper maintenance and care of the bike during the rental period. Service is included in the rental. However ANY damage caused by negligence or misuse may result in additional charges.

Safety: Renters must adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations while using the rented bike. Helmets are not mandentory by strongly recommended for safety purposes.

Approved Helmets can be rented within the RefurbishBike concept for a fee, these may have been used, but is approved and in a safety requirement for bike usage only. The helmets is by the brand YAKKAY or LUNAR only.

Return Conditions: The bike must be returned in the same condition it was rented out, normal wear and tear excepted. RefurbishBike reserves the right to charge for damages beyond normal use.

Lost keys have an extra cost

Lost bike have a own insurance risk of 500,00 DKR fee on a regular bike & a 1.500 DKR fee on a Signature bike.

Security Deposit: A security deposit may be required before the rental period begins. This deposit will be refunded upon the safe and timely return of the bike, minus any applicable fees for damages or late returns.

Ownership: The bike remains the property of RefurbishBike ApS at all times. Renters are not allowed to sell, sublet, or otherwise transfer the bike to any third party.

Liability: RefurbishBike is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss incurred during the rental period. Renters assume full responsibility for their safety and the bike while it is in their possession.

All bikes are insured by TRYG as demanded by business law within usage of the territory of Denmark.

Termination: RefurbishBike reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and reclaim the bike at any time due to violation of the terms and conditions or for any other justifiable reason. The cost of claiming the bike and returning the bike to the main address of RefurbBike ApS may have a cost to the customer.

Privacy: Personal information collected for the rental process will be used solely for administrative purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law. Our payment is STRIPE.com and the only data driven activity within a regular customer relation between RefurbishBike and you as a customer.

Modification of Terms: RefurbishBike reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Renters will be notified of any changes via STRIPE or through our website.

By renting a bike from RefurbishBike, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.

RefurbishBike is endorsed by the Correctional Services, thus employing a portion of our temporary workforce comprising individuals serving sentences or community service. We collaborate with the Correctional Services to facilitate the reintegration of individuals into the workforce after completing their community service obligations
